Why This Site Exists
Sheldon is one of Birmingham's largest outer suburbs, home to tens of thousands of residents, a thriving high street along Coventry Road, one of the city's most visited country parks, and a busy international airport on its doorstep. Despite all of this, the area has never had a dedicated online presence — somewhere local people can find accurate, up-to-date information about where to eat, who to call, what's on, and what matters in their community.
B26 Sheldon was built to fill that gap. It is a straightforward, honest local website — not a national aggregator, not a social media feed, and not a council service. Just a useful place to look things up if you live, work, or spend time in B26.
